Who would have though that an oil could actually help your skin? Up until a few years ago I really couldn’t believe it. I always worried it would make my already oily skin oilier but, actually they really don’t. I find they are normally just a really intensive moisturizer but with benefits! Here are my favorite serums/oils.

Clarins Double Serum Complete Age Control Concentrate

This is a two in one serum with 20 various pure plant extract to help give age-defying results. The product claims to firm skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles, even skin tone, less visible pores in four weeks but, I saw results in as little as two weeks. I don’t really have many wrinkles but I found my skin a little fuller, more even in tone, and just healthier looking. I usually use this in the evening because it is a bit heavy on the skin and I find when I wake up my skin looks so wonderful.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

This is my most used oil in my collection and for good reason! It helps regenerate, restore and replenish skin. I honestly find any scars I may have less visible and more diminished in size after one use. I use this almost every night with a moisturizer and It has yet to fail me.

Ole Henriksen Pure Youth Vitamin C Youth Activating Oil

This was a new purchase for me over Christmas. I saw rose hips seed oil and was sold instantly. Rose hips seed oil is said to have vitamin C, vitamin A and fatty acids to help brighten, repair and nourish the skin. I love using this when my skin is looking seriously dead which normally occurs when seasons change.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Collagen Booster

This has been in my stash for many years and I always come back to it. This is perfect to use in the morning to keep that glow lasting all day long. This is a five- source vitamin C complex that helps support collagen production, brighten and minimize fine lines. Best part is how fast this sinks into the skin. Perfect for those of us that don’t feel like waiting forever.

Let me know your favorite serums/oils!
