Since I started school I have found one thing to be true. When you are stressed you eat awful. If you are not aware I have gone back to graduate school and my life has become a series of stressful days with endless donut eating nights. Like all bad things it has finally caught up to me. I have been feeling sluggish, irritable and fuzzy. Not my normal bright and shinny self.

After some deep soul searching and bad food purging, I decided to make some changes. I don’t believe in dieting but I do believe in healthy choices. Over the course of the next few months I am aiming to remove/ limit certain things from my daily life. First off the big bad wolf, CANDY. I love me some Cadbury eggs but I just cannot control myself around those guys or any candy really. Naturally this weekend I threw out all candy I could find in my house.

After doing all this I thought what a wonderful new series on the blog! I will be keeping you updated on my food journey with recipes on the way. Don’t worry I still plan on splurging when the mood is right, I love donuts to much to say goodbye forever.
