Fall is one of my favorite seasons. All the wonderful colors, sweaters, and of course football. If you did not know I am a huge football fan and I do enjoy a little tailgating with friends however, tailgating usually involves a lot of unhealthy food. Thanks to Chobani that’s all changing!

Introducing the new MEZE drip range! With a variety of flavors to pick from you can be the life of the tailgate with this healthy dip. I always struggle a bit with what to pair with dips because let’s be honest chips are not the healthiest item. I recently bought a bag of the mini sweet peppers and figured I would try it together. Basically an explosion occurred in my mouth and in the best way! The sweet of the pepper and the tang of the dip makes the perfect combo! Plus, if your looking for healthier options at those fun tailgates peppers and yogurt dip are a great choice! Here are some other great ideas instead of those chips!

So say goodbye to the unwanted calories and say hello to a healthy, flavorful, and fun dip! Perfect for any event you may be going to this season! If you are interested in finding out more about these yummy dips check out Chobani Meze Dips.

I need to stop spending money or stay out of Sephora. Sephora gets me every time. Recently I went into Sephora and had myself a little purchase. Here are three products you need to try!

Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask

I used to love Clinique but then I feel out of love with the brand. Recently I jumped on the bandwagon. I was shocked at the results I have been receiving from the line. Since, the seasons are changing those dry and flaky patches have returned. I have been using this as a nighttime mask before bed and have been loving the results. My skin is smooth, moisturized, and plumped. If you’re in the market for a moisture mask, I highly recommended this one!

Belif Moisturizing and Firming Eye Cream

Say hello to the eye cream that has changed my future eye wrinkles! This guy is seriously amazing. Every time I use this my under eye area look brighter, smoother, and plumper. It has a faint citrus scent which I find wonderful for my early mornings.

Urban Decay NAKED SKIN Concealer

I purchased this randomly the other day and wasn’t really expecting much. Naturally I was completely wrong. This concealer is amazing. I find it is pretty light weight but still packs some powerful coverage. It really does look like your skin but better. I usually apply this with a damp beauty blender under my eye area and on the occasional break out. Highly recommend this for my light makeup lovers out there!

The idea of a product stopping oil in its tracks is sort of crazy. I kept seeing amazing reviews of the new COVER FX CUSTOM BLOT DROPS and figured I needed to get my hands on it.  COVER FX prides itself on the customization and this versatility. The CUSTOM BLOT DROPS can be applied before, after, or mixed with makeup. Inside this wonderful looking container is a mega serum that helps clear pores, hydrate, soothe and tone the skin. When applied to direct skin it helps diffuse light to blur those unwanted imperfections away.

I tested this product out during hot days, work days, and even going out. To my surprise it blew away my expectations. Even after a night of some awful dancing on my part, my makeup was not budging. Honestly, not a drop of oil in sight! That blew away my mind. I’m not sure what makes this product amazing but I’m not complaining. It has serious lasting power and keeps everything looking fresh!

Blueberry Lime Yogurt Cake

I cannot believe it is about to be September already. I’m not complaining though; I love the fall but I do enjoy the produce that comes with summer. I recently went to a blueberry farm near my house and gathered way too many blueberries and figured this would be a perfect time to try out a new cake! Say hello to my new favorite summer cake: The Blueberry Lime Yogurt Cake!

I made a small version of this cake only because I can never finish a big cake by myself but you can make this in a variety of sizes. I used a recipe from BBC to make this but made a few minor changes.

For the cake:

1 cup butter, at room temperature

1 1/2 cup sugar

2 1/4 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 Tbsp. organic lime zest (2 large limes)

3 large eggs

1/3 cup fresh-squeezed lime juice (2 large limes, use the same ones you grated)

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

For the Blueberry Filling

3 Cups Fresh or Frozen Blueberries

2 Tbsp flour

3 Tbsp lime juice

1/4 cup cane sugar

For the Frosting

2 packages 8 oz cream cheese, at room temperature

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 1/2 cup icing sugar

Prepare the blueberry filling first because it will need to cool before putting it on the cake. In a small pot mix the flour, lime juice, sugar and blueberries. Heat to a simmer on medium for about 5 to 10 minutes or until sauce is thick and turned translucent.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat after each. In another bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In another bowl mix together the yogurt, lime juice, and lime zest. Once all mixed together add 1/3 of the dry and wet ingredients at a time until fully combined. The dough should be thick and not watery.

Add the batter to your baking pans, making sure to grease or coat with butter to prevent sticking. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Let the cake cool completely before frosting.

To prepare the cream cheese frosting, whip cream cheese and sugar until smooth and silky. Once finished you can assemble your cake. I decided to do an open faced cake because I love seeing the layers. I placed the cream cheese on the middle layer and then the blueberry filling on top. However, you can assemble this however you like!

Skincare and housewares are my favorite things to shop for. Nothing says satisfaction like a good piece of furniture (does this mean I’m getting old?). Here are my recent obsessions!

REN EverCalm Global Protection Day Cream

This is REN’s #1 selling moisturizer and for good reason. It helps calms the skin and soothe any irritation.  It helps even the most discomforted skin, eases redness, and sensitivity to give skin a more glowing appearance. My skin was having a bit of a troubling time a few weeks ago and this amazing product saved the day. Anytime I am feeling a bump or see any redness I slather this all over my face.

REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask

Say hello to my new Sunday ritual. This mask is amazing for those of us who just seem to not have that perfect skin we are looking for. It helps lift dead skin, improve skin tone, texture, firmness and radiance. All of which can be thanked from the glycolic acid, lactic acid, citric acid and tartaric acid. The best part it helps minimize the appearance of pores, sun damage, hyperpigmentation and acne scars. Apply this all over the face for 10 minutes and wipe off with warm water.

Anthropology Olive Leaf and Lemon Candle

I have been in the market for a new candle and Anthropology always can be counted on for the best quality. I am all about clean scents in the summer and this is right up my alley! Its citrusy and refreshing without being to much. Plus when you burn this it fills up the whole room!

I have been craving pie for a few weeks now. With August right around the corner what a better what to celebrate the end of July with a berry pie! Here is my current favorite recipe!

One 16 ounce bag of frozen blackberries, thawed and strained

One 16 ounce bag of frozen raspberries, thawed and strained

1 ½ cup sugar plus some for sprinkling

¼ cup corn starch or flour

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

¼ teaspoon fine salt

Butter or Crisco for greasing

Two 9-inch refrigerated pie crusts or homemade crust

In a large bowl, add the blackberries, raspberries, sugar, cornstarch, flour, and salt and toss to combine. Grease or butter the pie dish and unroll one of the crusts and place it into the dish. Place the mixture of berries on top of the crust. Unroll the second crust over the top or you can do a specialty crust like I did! Make sure if you used the full crust on the top to place some air vents for the steam! Sprinkle the left over sugar on the top.

Preheat the open to 400 degrees and bake until golden brown or when the mixture is bubbling at the center!

The one thing I struggle with the most is lunch. I never know what I am in the mood for or have nothing in the fridge to make what I want. The other day I was searching in my fridge and made a wonderful little wrap and knew I had to share it with you!

1 wrap of your choice

½ a tomato

1 TBS of hummus

½ ripe avocado

1 cup of spring mix or any lettuce of your choice.

I placed the hummus first on the wrap just because it helped everything stay in place! Add the avocado, tomato, and lettuce. Wrap that baby up and enjoy!

Davines has quickly become my favorite brand. They  have natural sourced ingredients and are eco-friendly. I honestly have yet to experience a bad product from the company!  I have been using their brand for 6 months now and a lot of people have been asking me recently how I keep my hair healthy looking. I decided to share my two secret products with you!

On an everyday basis this is my go-to product. Its super rich and nourishing but without any heaviness. It adds shine, softness, helps fizz, moisturizes hair, heat protection and prolongs hair styles. I actually love using this for hair drying my hair. I find it really helps my waves look somewhat cute as apposed to not cute hahah!

Want perfectly straight hair but still have that healthy Jennifer Aniston vibe? This is the product for you. This is an oil so be careful when applying. I only use two pumps normally and it works perfectly! It adds tons of shine, softness, helps with frizz, and is an anti-oxidant rich formula. This guy has been a savior for these summer months. I sometimes even use this as a moisture mask overnight!

Make sure to check out Davines in your spare time! Let me know what your favorite hair products are currently!

Chia Seeds, I am obsessed with these little guys! If I can put chia seeds on something I will! Its not a secret that these guys are amazing for you. Packed with Omega-3 Fatty Acids, Fiber, and Antioxidants they are basically a powerful little seed! A great alternative to processed grains like white bread. Sadly, It will not taste like white bread but I have something better for you!

I am a huge creature of habit. I love routines and my breakfast usually stays the same… oatmeal in the winter, shredded wheat in the summer and the occasional omelet, or avocado toast on the weekend. Every so often that oatmeal and shredded wheat just does not cut it and I need a little change up. Say hello to my recent breakfast.

This is basically fool proof for my friends who claim they cannot cook! This is also an overnight product which is great if your running around to late in the morning to make anything! It may not look the most amazing but it sure does taste good and with some fresh fruit you cannot go wrong!

1 cup Almond Milk (I like Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk or any milk you like)

¼ cup Chia Seeds

1 tsp honey

a few dashes of cinnamon

Mix everything up, place in a jar and place in the fridge! Wake up in the morning and enjoy!

OUAI Haircare has been hyped up on social media recently and Im going to be honest with you its worth every penny. The brand was created by Jen Atkin who is one of the stylists for the Kardashians.

I really wanted to check out the range and was in need of a new texturizing spray. I went for the OUAI Texturizing Hair Spray. This product is seriously amazing. It feels like a dry shampoo and a hair spray that made an amazing baby. Its super lightweight and has a wonderful floral scent.  Jen took it one step higher and added volcanic minerals to absorb oil and refresh hair! I have even found this extends my curls even longer.

This has by far been one of the best hair finds of the year! Let me know what your favorite hair products are?
